Responding to its bayside context, SOL brings together natural materials and a muted palette to invite light, air and a seamless indoor–outdoor flow. Sculptural in form and tactile in feel, the home carries an effortless, considered presence.

This project set out to articulate both the craft of the build and the design logic behind it. Through a series of formats, we documented the spatial and material qualities of the home, alongside the client’s insights into the intentions and decisions that informed the design.
